Women's Names

Today's show is composed of songs whose titles are a woman's name. There's a fair amount of variability in where things go from there, though. Many, though not all go the love song route that you might expect. Stay tuned for the exceptions...as well as the norms.

Welcome

Here shall be chronicled my exploits on each episode of Fluffy Until Further Notice.

The music ranges from indie to new wave to modern/goth/art/folk rock to Brit-pop, but could mostly be classified as "Alternative", or more accurately (but perhaps less helpfully) as music I like.

Most shows have a theme, some of which I explain throughout the show, and others I leave for listeners to guess. Once we're a few shows in, you can take a look at playlists from previous shows to get an idea of how these usually go.

This term, you can catch the show every Tuesday night from 7-8pm Eastern on WJHU.

Here's a sample playlist from a previous show to give you an idea of what to expect (albeit with abnormally-high Radiohead content). The theme was the financial crisis which was just coming to a head at the time:

Song Artist Album
Life In A Glass House Radiohead Amnesiac
Disturbance at the Heron House R.E.M. Document
You're My Only Home The Magnetic Fields 69 Love Songs Vol. 2
House Of Cards Radiohead In Rainbows
Dollars & Cents Radiohead Amnesiac
You Never Give Me Your Money The Beatles Abbey Road
Troubled Times Fountains of Wayne Utopia Parkway
Intervention Arcade Fire Neon Bible
High And Dry Radiohead The Bends
It's Coming Down Cake Fashion Nugget
Panic The Smiths Singles
Hysteria Muse Absolution
It's the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine) R.E.M. Document

If you just can't wait for the next show to get your Fluffy fix, you can listen to my Pandora station, RoboFluffy any time, and at least hear some music I probably like, albeit without a theme.
